Frozen - Chapter 1

Introduction
This is my first Frozen fanfic. I uploaded it on FanFiction.net on March 9, 2014. I haven't yet decided how the story is going to turn out. But anyways, I have another Frozen fanfic that is in progress, but I'll wait awhile before I upload it.

Frozen
"Elsa! Wake up!" Anna banged on her older sister's door. "Wake up!"

After less than half a minute of banging the door, an alarmed Elsa quickly opened her eyes.

"Wake up!"

She sat up, reluctant to tiptoe towards the door.

"Elsa, I know why you're shutting me out," Anna told her. "I had a dream about it."

Elsa raised a brow. A dream told her?

"You don't have to be afraid of hurting anyone if the gloves will hinder it. Please come out!"

Elsa's eyes grew wide.

"Please! You don't have to afraid."

Elsa thought for a moment. Should she come out? Would reconciling with her be the best choice? What if just touching her could do harm? Elsa didn't want to hurt her, and if just touching her would cause damage, she wasn't willing. She wouldn't take a chance.

"Anna," she whispered. "I can't."

"Why not?"

"I'll hurt you. I don't want to take any risks. What if I caused you damage, or even your life, by just hugging you?"

"But...but then your gloves would have the same effect, which they don't," replied Anna.

"Please, Anna! I'm just trying to protect you."

"Elsa!" Anna whined. "You had control when we were little, and you weren't afraid."

Elsa hesitated. "I almost cost you your life because I wasn't, and with it I learned how dangerous I am."

"There's beauty in your magic, and you're not a monster. True monsters don't have beauty."

Elsa looked down, shut her eyes, and sighed. She didn't know what to do. Anna had a point, but she just couldn't risk hurting her.

"Anna, no. My final answer is no. Goodbye."

Trivia

  • My original idea was to include the dream sequences, which basically in written form shows what went on when Elsa and Anna were playing to when Elsa was told by Pabbie that there's beauty and great danger in her power.
  • When Anna says that "true monsters don't have beauty," she's referring to the person within, not on the outside. I mean, Hans is gorgeous and hid his true nature from Anna. I'm not sure where I'm going with this story yet, because I'm not sure how Hans should be portrayed.
